Entry for The Shattered Self Contest!
This artwork represents the inner fight of trans people. Looking at yourself in the mirror is an everyday challenge, you've given up on trying to explain to everyone that you have not gone crazy and just being yourself is a struggle. This is for all of you that were born in a body different from what you feel like - it's not gonna be awful forever! Keep on trying and being your best. Every problem has a solution. You're not alone!

Can't say I understand the issue of not being comfortable in one's own body, but it must be difficult to have to feel that way...
I've never really been one for labels personally, but I guess if it helps others with their identity, then maybe they'd need that? If that's what helps.

It doesn't really matter what a person identifies as, to me.
I'd still find them attractive. (Although, I'm sure they wouldn't share that feeling towards me... :\ )
